We are often asked if we offer kid’s haircuts. Why yes! We do! Here at Fritz’s we treat your little one’s hair the same we would any grown man. Every haircut here is cut precisely with attention to detail no matter the age of our client. We will make sure every little hair is in place. Kids are also able to take advantage of our free “Tighten the Edges” service between haircuts to clean up around ears and neckline to keep them looking sharp for school. We have an excellent kid-friendly staff, those delicious Otis Spunkmeyer cookies and they can play checkers while they wait. Our haircuts for boys 12 and under are $18.00 and over 13 are $26.00.
So you’re getting hitched, or maybe you’re getting those forever-displayed senior photos taken. Whatever the occasion you want your hair to looks it’s best.
As a general rule we recommend a haircut about one to two weeks before your event. That said, some guys love the look of a super fresh cut; others don’t want that “I just got a haircut” look so base your decision on what makes you feel the best and most confident.
If you do decide to plan your cut a couple of weeks ahead of your event, you may find that your sideburns are getting a little out of control and your neckline isn’t so sharp anymore. Now before you take that Gillette to the back of your neck, don’t forget about our complimentary Tighten the Edges service. In about 10 minutes we will tame those sideburns, clean up those pesky hairs tickling your ears, straighten up that neckline and finish off with our famous straight razor shave on your neck so you’re ready for your Kodak moment.
This is a question that we are often asked and is supported by a one word answer: cowlick. Okay, so what is a cowlick you ask? It is a lock of hair growing in a different direction from the rest of the hair. Basically, since our heads are round and not flat, the direction of hair needs to “swirl” in order to lay on our heads properly. Cowlicks are commonly found on the crown, but can be found anywhere on the head. Most people have one cowlick, although some people have several.
Men notice cowlicks more than women because they keep their hair shorter. As stylists, we can’t change the way nature has your hair growing, but we can disguise cowlicks by cutting the hair a certain way. Depending on your particular problem, we may cut the cowlick short, or leave it longer for the best result. We can also recommend a styling product to help style the hair in a manner that works with the cowlick. If you are experiencing a cowlick problem talk to your stylist about it! We will be happy to find a solution that works for you!
So the first thing you notice when your hair starts to grow out is that it touches the top of your ear and that fuzz on the back of your neck drives you crazy! You’re not ready for a full haircut, you just need to be cleaned up a bit. That’s where Fritz’s comes in.
Between haircuts we provide one Tighten the Edges Service absolutely free! Better yet, it only takes 5-10 minutes of your time and you don’t need an appointment. Just walk in when it’s convenient for you.
The Tighten the Edges includes using the trimmer to clean up around your ears, neckline, and sideburns, followed by a straight razor neck shave.
So don’t let those hairs brushing your ears bug you and please don’t try to shave your own neck! Just remember at Fritz’s we’re here to take care of you and keep you looking fresh from cut to cut.
So you want to look like Brad Pitt. Is this Legends of The Fall Brad, Pre-Angelina Brad, or Six kids later Brad? Celebrities change hair styles as often as they change girlfriends (or wives for that matter).
Your stylist will be better at obtaining the exact style if you bring a picture of the haircut you are trying to replicate. So cut a picture out, pull one up on your phone, or bring in a magazine. From one picture alone we can tell how long it is, what tool was used to cut it, and which product will work best for it.
At Fritz’s we work by appointment because we know your time is too valuable to wait around for a haircut or spa service. We make every effort to begin your service as close to the appointed time as possible. Appointments are a double-edged sword, though. Sometimes we need to reschedule late arrivals in order to avoid running behind for the rest of the day.
